Fantastic, quaint, friendly, unique and close to Jay Peak. And it's on a DAIRY FARM! Meaning, if you want, you get to milk a cow and drink fresh milk! Why would you even consider staying somewhere else?
My wife and I visited the farm over Labor Day. It was a fantastic experience. The Poutres treated us like family members as soon as we walked in the door. The view to the East is exceptional, the breakfasts perfect and the hospitality beyond belief. They love the land and their herd. A great place to learn how a family dairy farm should be run. Enjoy!
This is a cozy place to stay with an incredible view. The owners are warm and welcoming, and greet you in the morning with a wonderful (and huge!) breakfast. The maple syrup for the pancakes is their very own homemade stock.
It's a tiny bit off the beaten path, so make sure you check their directions on their website. Google might send you the back way, which I would not recommend.
The rooms are comfortable, the common spaces open and bright, and the shower is hot!
If I find myself heading back up toward the very top of Vermont, I'll stay here again.
That is the best place two go if you would like to have Bed & Breakfast.They have awesome maple syrup and i liked milking the cow. If any one is looking for a place to stay this would be the place to go.
